Contact upload is a feature that allows us to check which of your contacts in your device's address book are also BlueSecures users. It also means that when your contacts who aren't currently using BlueSecures sign up, we can update your BlueSecures contact list.

When you use contact upload and give BlueSecures access to your device's address book, it will typically access and upload the phone numbers in your address book every day. But even so, this depends on a number of factors, including how often a user uses BlueSecures, including those of BlueSecures users and your other contacts. We don’t collect any of the other information that could appear in your device address book including names, email addresses, and other details.

If any of your contacts aren’t yet using BlueSecures, we protect their privacy by managing their phone number in a way that is designed to prevent BlueSecures to identify those contacts.

You can control the contact upload feature from your device-based settings. You can still communicate with those who have BlueSecures if you choose not to use Contact Upload, but certain functionality will be limited.
